MZ Electronic was founded in 1993 with the aim to design and develop electronic equipment for the marine industry.
Since its early years, the company has presented itself at major national and international industry fairs with a catalog of innovative products.
MZ Electronic, has always created products for military, commercial and recreational vessels.
This has led to the development of solutions designed for different navigational needs, all of which are capable of sustaining continuous and intensive use and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
OUR HISTORY
1993
MZ Electronic was born, a company focused on the design and development of electronic equipment for boats.
Over the years it increases its product range: battery chargers, charge distributors, bilge switches, and winch accessories.
2008
MZ Electronic began working with ORVEA by creating the Italwinch windlass brand and making the first range of winches for boats up to 16 meters.
2011
MZ Electronic acquires ORVEA by enlarging the family of mooring-related products to 40-meter vessels, thus gaining a full range of electronic accessories and the ability to make custom mechanical products.
2017
MZ Electronic completes the acquisition of Officina Navale Nanni(ONN), a nautical history company that has been making custom windlass winches based on designers’ requests since 1950.
MZ Electronic is thus able to expand its offering to recreational, commercial and military vessels up to 90 meters in length
2021
MZ Electronic acquires Progetto Elica (SBM), a firm specializing in the calculation, design and manufacture of custom submerged and surface propellers, shaftlines and rudders, for boats up to 150 feet
TODAY
MZ Electronic now has an increasingly complete
range of high-quality products, from propulsion to anchoring and all certifiable to the requirements of the world’s most stringent classification bodies.

MZ Electronic is certified as a company according to CSQ ISO 9001 standards with IMQ.
All products are manufactured under the specifications of certification authorities. Therefore, they exceed and meet the requirements of the world’s most stringent classification bodies including Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas, DNV-GL, ABS, CCS, RINA, RRR, RMRS
