The consumer is entitled to the rights provided by D. Lgs. No. 206/2005 “Consumer Code, pursuant to Article 7 of Law No. 229 of July 29, 2003” published in OJ No. 235 of 08/10/2005 – Suppl. Ordinary no. 162, which shall remain unaffected by the warranty claims expressed below:

The warranty is offered by Mz Electronic srl, via Bainsizza 2 20900 Monza (MB) Italy.
Prerequisite for asserting warranty rights is the submission to Mz Electronic of the following documents:

• A document proving the purchase of the product (invoice)
• Product serial number

The owner of the warranty right is the purchaser or user of the product. All items are guaranteed for a period of 2 years (two) from the date of purchase of the product.

CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS

1.The liability of MZ Electronic is limited to the repair or replacement of parts of the defective product; therefore, the warranty does not cover all incidental expenses that arise as a result of the repair of the defect (assembly, disassembly, travel,
downtime, etc.); all such expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser or user.

2. MZ Electronic will not be held liable in any way for product malfunction, loss and/or damage resulting from:

• Use of the product for an application for which it is not intended or intended
• Corrosion, degradation due to ultraviolet rays, wear and tear
• Inability to use or maintain the product according to the directions given by MZ Electronic i.e., faulty or inadequate installations of the product
• Product changes or alterations
• Working conditions that exceed the capabilities of the product or the electrical safety conditions of the product
• Disassembly even partial disassembly of the product

3. The product subject to warranty claim must be sent to the dealer or to MZ Electronic, if directly supplied, for inspection and the return must still be authorized in writing by MZ Electronic.

4. This warranty does not cover incidental expenses incurred in investigation, removal, transportation, or installation of the product. Any work performed by personnel not authorized by MZ Electronic will void said warranty. MZ Electronic products are intended for use in the marine environment only. MZ Electronic disclaims any liability due to any other use.

Exceptions

The coverage of this warranty is limited to the period of one year from the date of purchase by the user, in case min where the product or part of it is used for: Products for commercial and/or charter use.

Responsibility

The liability of MZ Electronic concerning this warranty, excludes any other warranty or liability to the extent permitted by law.

In particular : MZ Electronic will not be held responsible for:

• Loss of direct or indirect turnover or profit, and consequential economic losses
• Damages, costs or expenses incurred by third parties
• Damage to boats or instruments
• Death or injury ( unless caused by negligence on the part of Mz Electronic).

This warranty lists the specific rights allowed by MZ Electronic; they may differ depending on the laws in different countries The purchaser also may have other legal rights, which may vary from country to country.

Procedure

Reports of warranty claims must be made quickly in writing by the end user to the dealer, who will contact MZ Electronic, or to MZ Electronic Via Bainsizza 2, 20900 Monza, Italy, in the case of direct sales.

Proof of purchase and authorization from MZ Electronic will be required before any repair work is done.
